Who is Afraid of the Dark?

So I had one of those embarrassing freak out moments this evening. I was in the Hoodbridge late night, working in the back part of the basement when the lights went out! Thanks to every scary movie I've ever watched, I immediately assumed that someone was breaking into the house to kill me and had cut off the electricity. After flailing, tripping over every item in the basement, and running out the back door and around the house through overgrown shrubbery, I was relieved to see that the entire neighborhood was dark (because surely that meant I was safe). Needless to say, the scene of my bolting out of the house is now comical. Luckily there was a flashlight in the car, and I bravely went back into the house, grabbed my keys, and high-tailed it back to Arlington.

On a less scary note, I sold my parent's bedroom set tonight. It's so darn outdated, but it was the first thing they ever bought. I think it's going to a good home.
