Strategic Work E-mails

How amazing does it feel when you can send an e-mail after 'core' work hours? And do you sometimes copy a few extra people just to show off? I worked til 4am last night, and I think there is definitely a line between respected e-mailing hours and when people start to think you are a little nuts.
